Business Development Lead

The Business Development Lead of RPO is responsible for the strategic and growth planning of GDH’s RPO business with clients across all verticals. This role will identify potential RPO needs within clients and prospective clients.   This role will be able to identify sell and scope projects, set project goals, deliverables, identify creative pricing models and manage costs.

This role will shape and continuously improve the framework for GDH RPO solutions. This role will lead all RPO sales activity.  As the RPO sales team grows, the Lead will manage those efforts and further develop the RPO sales team. The Business Development Lead of RPO will also be responsible for the development and growth of an RPO sales team.

GDH is able to provide all RPO services to companies contracted with the United States Government; we have the ability to meet the technical and security requirements set forth by our clients.  The ideal candidate will have experience in both the public and private sectors.

Essential Functions

  • Develop framework, service offerings, standard operating procedures and go-to-market strategy
  • Responsible for strategic sales of RPO for GDH
  • Achieve sales growth and success by collaborating and executing on overall RPO strategies
  • Ability to train, coach, and develop RPO Sales Executives as this division grows
  • Work closely with Vice President of RPO/MSP to align recruiting efforts with upcoming RPO project needs to ensure the speed of delivery is achieved
  • Lead and execute a vision for the growth of the RPO division that aligns with the annual forecast and plan. Review this plan monthly and quarterly with Senior Leadership
  • Actively engage other GDH business units (Project Services Group, MSP, Field Offices and IT/Engineering) to promote overall growth for GDH 
  • Actively engage with corporate partners in Accounting, Contracts, and HR to review the overall financial, contractual/compliance, and employment, health and efficiency of the branch operations

Supervisory Responsibility 

This position is responsible for supervising a team of RPO Account Executives

Physical Demands

This is largely a sedentary role.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position.  Regular days and hours of work are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.


Some travel is expected for this position, based upon work demands.  Not expected to 75%

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 years of I.T. recruiting/sales experience 
  • 3 years of RPO experience

Preferred Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree and 3+ year’s recruiting/sales experience, preferably in a staffing environment; or equivalent combination of education and training.
